Believe it or not, the famous and renowned fashion house Versace is building a hotel and resort in Dubai as Palazzo Versace hotel and Resort. Versace decided to build the first refrigerated beach so that hotel guests can walk comfortably across the sand on hot summer days!!
“We will suck the heat out of the sand to keep it cool enough to lie on,” he said. “This is the kind of luxury that top people want.” said Soheil Abedian, founder and president of Palazzo Versace.
So I understand that Versace found out that Dubai is the best location to build his new crazy hotel and join the other ongoing crazy projects already running in Dubai. here you go Dubai, a refrigerated beach for us to sleep on during summer!
but the question is, What about that big wet spot just a few steps away from the sand called the Ocean? Can't people walk a few steps to cool off in the water?!!

Is this true or this is another marketing tool for Dubai during the crises? but its stupid and funny to see such projects happening in Dubai during the crises?!?!
